Our small organic dairy farm was started a few years ago at a village called Kowri in Manikganj.
In the beginning we organised some of our farmland and started producing some vegetables for our kitchen. Then we bought a few very good cows for genuine and safe fresh milk for our family members specially for the grandchildren.
Soon the rich and delicious milk saw a quick growth in demand from our neighbours, relatives and friends. Since then the number of cows and the milk production has been on the increase.
Plenty of natural food, pure water and fresh air help them grow in a harmonious environment while ensuring our responsibility and obligation to produce raw milk in the best possible conditions.
The most important factor that defines the quality of the milk is what the cows consume. They are well-fed and take fully natural food. Most of it is fresh green grass grown without pesticides and artificial fertilizers in the large fields surrounding the CountryFields farm.
The cows also eat the season’s straw from mainly chinigura and kalajeera paddy collected from Dinajpur. These are combined with a carefully crafted mix of silage and grains depending on the needs of each individual animal.

The cows drink water sourced from our very own reverse osmosis (RO) water plant at the farm, which ensures that microbes, excess iron, arsenic and other impurities are filtered out. The water quality is tested regularly.
Open wide spaced and airy sheds set in an idyllic rural locale with surrounding trees and green fields constitute a carefully nurtured habitat that allows the cows to enjoy a perfect environment and the most comfortable living conditions.
The farm workers maintain a dress code inside the facilities to minimize the spreading of germs and any infection from outside. Every time they enter a cowshed the workers soak their shoes in permanganate solution and other disinfectants.
The animals enjoy frequent bathing and grooming.
Manure and urine are removed constantly and carefully.
We make sure too that the cows are free and safe from enhancement hormones that can be harmful to both animals and people.
We insist on keeping our cows healthy, free of TB, undulant fever and infections such as mastitis. To inspect the well being of the cattle, expert consulting veterinarians come by the farm regularly.
For providing constant 24-hour care in shifts, all farm workers have their housing arrangement adjacent to the farm premises.
